Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of all products and services provided by RummyHukum, including our website, mobile app, and related games and services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to the following:

1. Acceptance: You must read and agree to these Terms before using our Services. By registering or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. You also confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that you are authorized to use the devices linked to your account.
2. Compliance: Your use of the Services signifies your agreement to abide by these Terms, which may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Services after amendments indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. 
3. Notifications: By registering with RummyHukum, you consent to receive notifications via SMS unless you opt out.
4. Validity: If any term of these Terms is found to be unlawful or invalid, it will not affect the remaining terms' validity and enforceability.
5. Termination: If you do not agree with our Terms or any changes, you should stop using our Services and the Website/Mobile App.

License Agreement and Intellectual Property

Please make sure to read our Terms of Service carefully and understand them properly. All the clauses in RummyHukum’s Terms of Service are delineated herein and/or included in the medium of reference that can be accessed by clicking on the related links provided below. You should ensure that you have read and clearly understood these Terms of Service before becoming a user of RummyHukum. You must agree to follow the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Fair Play Policy, Game Cancellation and Refund Policy, Game Rules, and all other policies laid down on the RummyHukum Website/Mobile App and undertake to follow them. You are bound by these Terms of Service whenever you use our Services or RummyHukum.

We reserve the right to modify or amend our Terms at any time without prior notice to you by posting the modified Terms on the Website/Mobile App. RummyHukum may, at its sole discretion, also notify users of any changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions, rules, regulations, and terms of use referred to herein or provided by RummyHukum by sending an email to the user's registered email address or by sending a notification to the user’s account. 

Game Variants

On RummyHukum, you can play 13-Card Pool Rummy, 13-Card Deals Rummy, 13-Card Points Rummy, and Rummy Tournaments. RummyHukum offers both free and cash rummy games.

Eligibility to Play Our Games

RummyHukum requires all players to be at least 18 years of age to ensure a safe and responsible gaming environment. Permit or assist anyone under 18 to access our Website/Mobile App or Services using your computer, mobile phone, or any other internet-enabled device. You will be solely responsible for your actions and accept full liability for any resulting consequences. This includes any adverse outcomes that may arise. RummyHukum, along with any third-party content providers or their related agents, will not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential injuries or damages arising from the use or inability to use our Website/Mobile App, even if warned of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time to ensure that our Services are not being used by minors. We also have the authority to ban any individual from playing our games if they provide false proof of age or if there is suspicion of underage participation.

Validate User Accounts

To access our Services, you must register on our Website/Mobile App using a strong password. Upon registration, you will be automatically assigned a username. For cash games or tournaments, additional personal information may be required for account verification. Ensure that your password is strong, incorporating capital letters, special characters, and digits.

For security reasons, we may request verification of the information provided during account creation or at any time thereafter, which may require additional documentation. Failure to provide the requested proof and documents may result in the suspension or termination of your RummyHukum account. We are not obligated to verify or cross-check your information and will not be responsible for any consequences arising from providing false, incorrect, incomplete, concealed, misleading, or irrelevant information. It is essential to provide accurate and complete information to the best of your knowledge to use our online games or Services. Additionally, you should not be a politically exposed person or have a criminal conviction. You should not be on the UN sanctions list or employed by an organization on the UN sanctions list.

Password Security

After registering on our Website/Mobile App, it is crucial that you keep your password private and do not share it with anyone, including friends, family, or third parties. To ensure the security of your account, create a robust password that is at least 8 characters long and includes a combination of uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters. This helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.

RummyHukum will not be held responsible for any issues that arise from unauthorized use of your account due to the compromise of your password. Please be aware that these security guidelines apply only to passwords created directly on RummyHukum. They do not apply to passwords created on external social platforms (such as Facebook or Google) and are used to log into RummyHukum. If you suspect any unauthorized activity on your account, promptly update your password and inform RummyHukum.

Technical Issues

You may occasionally experience disruptions such as errors, disconnections, or communication interruptions due to issues with your internet service, software, or hardware while using our Services.

RummyHukum is not liable for any network disconnections or failures on your device, whether they result from faults or errors on your end will not provide compensation for losses stemming from such disconnections. In the event of a service disruption on RummyHukum’s end during an ongoing game, as determined solely at RummyHukum’s discretion, we will cancel the game and refund your points or cash, regardless of the game’s status.

When participating in a cash game, you accept full responsibility for any risks associated with internet disconnections, communication interruptions between your device and RummyHukum’s servers, game lag, or software freezing. These issues may be due to your device or network. RummyHukum will not be responsible for any disconnection between your device and our server, except in the case of a server crash on RummyHukum’s end. If a temporary disconnection occurs during a game, you should stay at the table and resume play once your connection is restored, provided you have not been eliminated.

Payments

All transactions on RummyHukum are processed exclusively in Indian Rupees. When you register with RummyHukum, your account will track all transactions, including deposits for cash games and any winnings. Payments for cash games must be made through this account, and any prizes earned will be credited to it.

Transactions via credit cards, debit cards, and Internet banking are handled by third-party payment processors. RummyHukum is not responsible for any delays or issues that may arise during payment processing due to these third-party services. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction at our discretion. If a payment is processed but later found to be invalid, we may reverse the transaction and refund the amount to the original payment method. We recommend using your financial instruments for deposits into your RummyHukum account. You can deposit funds up to the maximum limit specified by us.

Funds deposited by players are held in a separate trust account and will be released according to our withdrawal policies. These funds are kept distinct from our corporate funds and will take priority over other claims in situations such as insolvency.

No Warranty

RummyHukum provides updated, accurate, and reliable information on our Website/Mobile App. However, we do not guarantee the suitability of the information presented, whether in documents or any other content available on our Website/Mobile App. We do not warrant that our servers will operate error-free, uninterrupted, or be free from bugs, defects, or viruses. We retain the sole discretion to determine if any issues on our end are responsible for errors, disruptions, or malfunctions. Should we find that you have intentionally caused any disruption or malfunction, we reserve the right to limit your access to our rummy games or tournaments or to terminate your account. RummyHukum is not liable for any assumed or potential winnings in any incomplete rummy games or tournaments on the Website/Mobile App.

Software Usage

Our software is intended solely for personal entertainment and playing rummy games. It is strictly prohibited to use our software for commercial purposes. You must use your RummyHukum account exclusively for playing games on the Website/Mobile App and must not attempt to manipulate, decode, modify, disassemble, integrate, dis-integrate, decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with our software in any way. The use of bots or automatic play is forbidden. Any attempt to utilize artificial intelligence, including but not limited to robots, in connection with our rummy games and software is strictly prohibited. All actions performed on or in connection with our Website/Mobile App must be carried out by you solely through the provided user interface. Any breach of these Terms may result in the suspension or termination of your RummyHukum account or other actions deemed appropriate by RummyHukum at its sole discretion.

No Bribes, Gifts, or Favors

You are strictly prohibited from offering any RummyHukum employee any form of bribe, gift, service, compensation, or any other favor that could influence or appear to influence the employee in the performance of their duties at RummyHukum. Likewise, RummyHukum employees are not permitted to solicit bribes, gifts, or services from you. Offering cash, cash equivalents, gifts, gift cards, services, or any other favors to RummyHukum employees is expressly forbidden.

Bonuses

RummyHukum provides bonuses to eligible users for deposits made using bonus codes and through various promotional offers, as outlined in the promotion’s specific terms and conditions. These bonuses cannot be redeemed in cash. For details on how to use these bonuses, please consult the terms and conditions associated with each bonus and promotion. Any bonuses that remain unused after their specified validity period will expire.

Breach and Consequences

If you breach these Terms of Service, use our Website/Mobile App for fraudulent or illegal purposes, engage in deceitful activities against us or other users, or partake in any actions detrimental to RummyHukum, our users, or the public—including false or incorrect chargeback claims or misleading communications (“prohibited activities”)—we reserve the right to implement one or more of the following measures at our discretion, without prior notice and prejudice to any other remedies:
Suspend your account.
Permanently deactivate or block your account.
Pursue legal action as necessary.

Furthermore, if you engage in prohibited activities, RummyHukum is entitled to deem all related activities on our platform as invalid. We may withhold or retain any funds associated with such activities (“funds”). RummyHukum may withhold the entire amount or only the portion related to the prohibited activities. If only a portion is withheld, the remaining amount will be returned to its source. You acknowledge that you are not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement when actions are taken against your account due to prohibited activities. Any actions taken are in addition to, and not limited by, any other rights and remedies available to us under the law or equity.

Service Charge

RummyHukum offers registered users the opportunity to engage in online skill-based games. Our platform provides the necessary software and IT services to facilitate gameplay with other users over the Internet. A Service Charge is applied to all cash games, which includes any applicable service taxes. This charge may vary depending on the specific game and may be adjusted periodically.
In compliance with Indian tax laws (specifically Sections 115BB and 194B of the Income Tax Act), a 30% TDS will be deducted from any winnings exceeding ?10,000. Therefore, any prizes awarded in leaderboard contests or other instances where the winnings surpass ?10,000 will have TDS deducted accordingly. For contests that involve weekly leaderboard performances, the final prize amounts will be adjusted based on cumulative winnings. For example, if a player achieves top positions in the weekly leaderboard multiple times, the total prize awarded for a contest will be reduced by the aggregate of prizes won in those weekly leaderboards.

Withdrawing Money

Currently, players can withdraw their winnings via electronic bank transfers. The following conditions govern these withdrawals:

1. Withdrawal Requests: Players can request withdrawals from their accounts at any time, subject to any restrictions related to bonuses or prize money. Notice of your withdrawal request must be provided by our procedures.
2. Accuracy of Account Details: When entering account details, players must exercise extreme care. To assist, we use a two-step process for entering these details. RummyHukum is not liable for any errors resulting from incorrect account information provided by users. In such cases, users will bear full responsibility for the consequences.
3. Withdrawal Limits: The minimum amount for a single withdrawal is Rs. 500, while the maximum is Rs. 50,000 per transaction. Funds should be deposited to participate in games, not for parking unused money. Money laundering is strictly prohibited and attempts to withdraw funds deposited via credit cards will be deemed money laundering and are not allowed. Withdrawals will only be processed after successful verification of the player's ID proof.
4. Geographic and Legal Restrictions: To be eligible for withdrawals, players must be residents of India and accessing our services from within India, excluding the states of Assam, Odisha, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
5. PAN Details: Withdrawal of winnings may require valid PAN details. PAN numbers are subject to verification, and discrepancies may lead to the cancellation of prize money.
6. Processing Time: We strive to process withdrawal requests promptly; however, delays may occur due to verification processes. RummyHukum is not liable for any compensation for delays in payment processing.

Offers and Promotions

Upon registering with RummyHukum, you’ll receive notifications about offers, updates, and contests via SMS, email, and direct mail. To qualify for some promotions, KYC verification is required. If your KYC details are not approved, you won’t receive promotion benefits. Check the specific terms for each promotion on the “Promotions” section of our Website/Mobile App. Promotions may be canceled without notice, and RummyHukum is not liable beyond refunding applicable entry fees.

Tournament Tickets

-Tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the purchaser/winner.
-They cannot be exchanged for cash or have any monetary value.
-Tickets are only valid for the tournaments or games for which they were issued and will expire if unused.
-Tickets do not represent any financial claim against RummyHukum and are part of promotional activities.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes related to or arising from the Services provided by RummyHukum, including issues regarding the interpretation, validity, or enforcement of these Terms, will be exclusively resolved by the courts in Bengaluru, India. This jurisdiction covers all matters, including any interim or preliminary relief needed during arbitration as detailed below.

Should a legal dispute arise, the party initiating the dispute must send a written notice (“Notification”) to the other party. Upon receiving the Notification, both parties must first attempt to resolve the issue through direct discussions. If a resolution is not achieved within fifteen (15) days from the Notification, the dispute will be settled through arbitration.
Arbitration will take place in Bengaluru, India, and will be conducted in English, following the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The arbitration decision will be final and binding on both parties. Each party will bear its arbitration costs, with the arbitrator's fees split equally unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. The arbitrator is empowered to issue interim orders and awards, including those for specific performance, which will be enforceable in the relevant courts. The arbitrator will provide detailed reasoning for their award.
Nothing in these Terms of Service restricts RummyHukum from seeking interim or permanent equitable relief, injunctive relief, or other remedies to protect its interests before, during, or after arbitration proceedings. Such actions to obtain relief do not waive RummyHukum’s right to pursue monetary damages through the arbitration process.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RummyHukum and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, deletion, or delay of information or materials. We are not liable for any harm related to accessing or downloading content, server quality, or competition cancellations. Refunds will not be issued for service access issues due to maintenance, provider failures, or uncontrollable events like natural disasters or civil unrest.
You download materials at your own risk and are responsible for any damage to your system or data loss. RummyHukum and its partners are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use our sites. If permissions required for services, events, or games are not obtained or are revoked, those offerings will be canceled. Users have no claims or demands if services, events, or games are suspended or closed.

Account Deletion

-To delete your RummyHukum account, note that:
-You will be removed from all games and services.
-Any fees or tickets for ongoing contests will be forfeited.
-The remaining account balance will be confiscated.
-You may restore your account within 30 days, but it will be reactivated with zero balance.
